The New Subaru Forester With 2.0 litre Engine

With Subaru ditching its Impreza and WRX STi models, the launch of the new Forester will cause a bit of a stir. The new Forester will be coming to the UK market this spring. The petrol engine for Subaru Forester will be a 2.0 litre boxer with 148bhp and an all new 2.0 litre turbocharged which can produce 276bhp, however the UK version has been limited to 237bhp. The only diesel engine for Subaru Forester is a 2.0 litre unit capable to return 148bhp. The 148bhp versions of Subaru engines are mated with a six speed gearbox while the turbocharged engine has been fitted with a CVT gearbox. Four wheel drive system comes as standard across all models. Other features of the new Forester include spacious interior, enhanced safety and improved performance and efficiency. The on-road performance is also improved thanks to the lower centre of gravity and a more rigid structure. It is capable of pulling up to two tonnes and the stabilization system makes it easy to keep it under control. Overall it is a good car with great on and off road performance.
