The Wait is over for the New Subaru Forester

The 2014 Subaru Forester will make its public debut at the 2012 LA Auto Show later this month. Official pictures of the new 2014 Subaru Forester crossover SUV have made their appearance as the vehicle gets ready for its world premiere on the 13th Nov 2012 in Japan. After this, 2014 Subaru Forester will make its public debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show later this month. The 2014 model offers enhanced suspension, better handling, and added comforts and has 8.7' ground clearance. For North American markets the 2014 Subaru Forester will be offered a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder Boxer engine offering 170 hp at 5800 rpm and 174 lb/ft torque at 4100 rpm or a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder Boxer turbocharged and intercooler engine offering 250 hp at 5600 rpm and peak torque of 258 lb/ft at between 2000 to 4800 rpm. The former engine is mated to a 6 speed manual or lineartronic CVT while the latter is mated to a 6 speed and 8 speed manual with Hill Descent Controls. Options will include an infotainment system, smartphone integration, navigation, rear view camera and Harman/Kardon audio amplifier and speakers. 2014 Subaru Forester has a roomier interior with additional legroom especially in rear seats while cargo area is also enhanced.
