Subaru XV Is A Reliable Compact SUV With Reasonable Performance

Subaru XV Is A Compact SUV With Strong Built; Its Off-Road Ability Is Less Comfortable Anyways

Subaru XV is a good crossover SUV according to the new design of the day. Its four-wheel drive approach makes it a worthy small crossover with strong and durable built. It offers good practicality with lot of handy equipments and features. Subaru XV has a unique design that makes it prominent from other brands of the same class such as Nissan Qashqai, Renault Kadjar, Mitsubishi ASX, Volkswagen Tiguan, Honda HR-V and Audi Q3.

Interior, Practicality And Boot Space

Though it is full of handy equipments and reliable features suit its interior, but its hard drive on rough roads make it uncomfortable and offers harsh ride experience. Overall standard of materials used in its interior is reasonable. The seating arrangement is good.

Enough leg and head room is there for the occupants. The steering-wheel offers a good grip and control. Boot space is also good enough with 380-Litres, though not the biggest in its class, but with good shaped. You can use 1270-Litres of storage capacity with rear seats drop down.

Petrol And Diesel Engines Are Equally Good In Performance

There is a1.6-Litre petrol engine that is capable of 112bhp and 111l/ft torque. It takes 12.7 seconds to get from 0-62m/h with top speed of 111m/h. Its fuel average is 43m/g with high emissions of Co2. It is available in five-speed manual gearbox and four-wheel drive system as standard and six-speed automatic LinearTronic gearbox with four-wheel drive system optional.

The second petrol engine is a 2.0-Litre with 147bhp and 145lb/ft torque. It offers reasonable performance with 116m/h top speed and 10.4 seconds for 0-62m/h sprint. Its fuel average is 42m/g with 153g/km of Co2 emissions. It is available in six-speed LinearTronic automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive system as standard. It is also available in six-speed manual gearbox and four-wheel drive system.
